There is good news for returning veterans!
Recent research published in the US Army medical journal, Journal of Military Medicine, shows the Transcendental
Meditation technique of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to be an effective procedure for treating and curing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
A short video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ki4c-XkYsM&feature=player_embedded) of a soldier -- Infantryman David George, Operation Desert Storm -- verifies the experience of many US veterans
now returning from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars; and, also, of the successful treatment of long-standing PTSD in veterans
of wars ranging as far back as World War Two.
An encouraging new book for veterans
and their families, "The Resilient Warrior", chronicles the experience of a bomber who returned home from war in
1945.
In 1975, having suffered from PTSD for 30 years, the author, Jerry Yellin, then
learned the Transcendental Meditation technique (see also: www.tm.org ) and experienced immediate and permanent benefits for this disease.
A
sponsorship program for returning Veterans is now available. It applies also to instruction in Transcendental Meditation for
Veteran's families, who share in the rewards of rapid relief from this terrible disease for their loved ones.

Thanks, and please tell a veteran!
